It has sure felt like winter in Wisconsin, USA for a long time, but winter doesn’t officially start until this Friday on December 21st. Before the changing of the seasons let me update everyone on where I have been this fall. Over the last couple months I have received so many messages asking, where are you!?

If you missed out on what I was up to this summer check out my Summer 2018 Update.

September & October

At the beginning of September I took off for Buenos Aires, Argentina! I participated in a co-working organization called Hacker Paradise. It is a group of awesome professionals who work on and for various companies or projects around the world. Most days are filled with everyone doing their own work. In the evenings and weekends people get together to hang out and explore the city together.

My time in Buenos Aires was filled with discovering the passions of the Argentinians: Tango, Fútbol and lots and lots of Steak

One of things I loved most about Buenos Aires was the food, so I spent a lot of time trying all the amazing restaurants in the city. Once in awhile I would stop eating and go out and explore some of the best parts of the city.

Because there is so much to do within Buenos Aires and I just couldn’t get enough of the city I only took one day-trip to Tigre to go on a night kayaking adventure!

November & December

I was planning to spend the rest of the year in South America, but sadly my injury got the best of me. I debated staying in Buenos Aires because the medical care was good. Although I felt comfortable and happy in Buenos Aires, I couldn’t fully get out and discover the city like I would have liked. I thought it would be better to return when I was recovered. Besides nothing can compete with the TLC of family and my mom’s home-cooked meals!

What adventures have you had this fall?

I’m hoping for an injury and sickness free 2019 full of traveling and new adventures! Stick around to see what adventures are in store for next year!
