Moscow One Week – Moscow Expat Life Update #2

I can’t believe it has been one week! It doesn’t seem like I have lived here that long at all. On the other hand it feels like I have gotten into a pretty good routine, if you consider success measured in being able to buy food and find and get into my apartment! Still struggling with some mechanical operations though. The first night I couldn’t figure out how to turn on my shower. The HR department at my school needed to send me a picture manual!

Cleaning

I am waiting to hear back from my school about how to use my washing machine. It has a dial with about 20 options! I wish I could say it is due to my lack of Russian that I am struggling, but alas only user ignorance 🙁 Happy to say I was ultimately victorious with the vacuum cleaner. It’s funny looking little rolling thing.
