6 Reasons to Join Daily Drop Pro (& How to Use it)
#1 Flight Deals

What are the flight deals?
FareDrop, formerly just flight deals, has merged to become one part of Daily Drop Pro. If you were aware of FareDrop, the flight deals will be familiar to you.
Whether you’re new or you need a refresher, you’ll receive flight deals based on your preferences. The deals are cash deals that are a cheaper price than usual. When clicking each deal you’ll see all the information you need with the departing airport, the destination airport, the price in cash, the price with different point currencies, and general airline and flight details. Some past, actual deals are in the image above.
You can also search for deals from any destination and compare past price deals.
Where are the flight deals?
This is the first page you will see when you login. It can also be easily accessed by clicking on the first icon (a ticket icon) on the left sidebar that says “deals” when you put your mouse over it. It’s “deals” under the hamburger (three lines) drop down menu on the upper right corner in the app.
You can also receive emails direct to your inbox and push notifications on your phone.
How do I use the flight deals?

Before you receive deals you will need to configure your settings. They can always be changed, but you only need to do this one time. Once they are set, you’ll keep receiving relevant deals! To begin, click on “edit deal settings” at the bottom of the page.
1. Departure Airports: Choose up to 10 US departure airports. For each airport select domestic and/or international flights. The flight deals you receive will be from these airports. Consider including airports that you can easily and cheaply reach that will position you for better deals.
2. Destination Preferences: Select the regions you want to receive deals from. If you’re not interested in traveling to Africa, then you won’t receive any deals from that region. For each region you select you are able to choose a max price for both economy and business class. No deals will be shared with you that are over that price.
3. Deal Preferences: A few more settings that you can change include deals from budget airlines and flights with stops.
4. Travel Availability: Select which months you would like deals. If you can only travel certain months this ensures that the deals are only for those months.
5. Profile: This is where you can set your email preferences including if you receive deals by email or not. If you toggle this setting off, make sure to frequently check your Daily Drop Pro homepage so you don’t miss all the great deals.
What’s the benefit of the flight deals?
Most things in life either take time or money. You need to choose which one you want to “spend”. Could you find these deals on your own….yes! Would you need to spend hours and hours doing so…..yes! From just this part of the tool alone you can easily save hundreds if not thousands of dollars a year. It will more than cover the cost of the Daily Drop Pro membership. The best part is, you’re not exchanging your time for saving on the flights.
Who are the flight deals for?
This benefit is especially helpful for people who don’t have the time, knowledge, or interest in travel planning. It’s a quick way to choose a destination and save money without having to spend hours of your own time.
It’s also great for travelers who want to travel to a lot of destinations and have some flexibility. If you’re only looking to go to Italy on May 22nd for a wedding, you might luck out and be emailed the best deal, but it helps to have more flexibility. The purpose of the flight deals is to “let the deal choose the destination”. This is actually the way I have been traveling for years and one of the many reasons I never know where I am traveling next! It’s also why I find full-time travel cheaper than traveling occasionally.
You also don’t need to worry about airline points as these are cash deals. While you can save a lot of money by delving into the miles and points world, you can still save money by paying cash!
#2 Flights Points Search

What is the flights points search?
Are you searching for the best way to fly a specific route? This tool lets you search for prices in flight miles. It gives you all the real time options across different airlines.
Where is the flights points search?
Click on the second icon (an airplane) on the left sidebar that says “flights points search” when you hover over it. On the app it is in the main drop down menu under the same name.
How do I use the flights points search?
It’s as simple as selecting and entering your flight class, number of passengers, origin, destination, and date.
On the results page reframe your search if needed with airline, time, aircraft, price, and other filters. You’re able to compare the points price with the cash price. This ensures you’re getting a good value for your point redemption.
Once you find a good deal use the step by step directions on how to book and how to transfer points including the airline transfer partners.
What’s the benefit of the flights points search?
This tool is essentially Google Flights, but for paying with points. Instead of having to run the same search on each airline’s website you only need to run it one time!
Who benefits from the flights points searches?
It’s a time saver for anyone who uses miles to pay for flights. Other than travelers who are able to receive free flights, this should include everyone! It’s also a cost saver as you’re able to choose the best price and not just the first price you find that you think is the best deal.
#3 Hotels Points Search

What is the hotels points search?
This is the same as the flights points search, but for hotels. You can see the point redemption rates and the cash prices at any brand hotel for the destination and date you choose.
Where is the hotels points search?
The third icon (a hotel) on the left sidebar that says “hotels points search” will lead you to this tool. It’s under the same name on the main app menu.
How do I use the hotels points search?
Enter your destination and date, and voila all the results will appear! There are several filters you can use.
Before booking you’ll see the options for transferring points for that particular brand. You can also see the hotel’s point availability calendar. If you have flexibility you might be able to find an even cheaper date to book.
What’s the benefit of the hotels points search?
Anyone who has used my travel planning services knows that I am a meticulous planner. Before spending points on any stay I always need to run the search for every hotel brand to make sure I am getting the best deal. This tool streamlines the process to only needing to search one time, instead of on all the different hotel websites.
Who benefits from the hotels points search?
If you’re someone like me who travels full-time or frequently and has points across various hotel brands, this tool is a life-saver! It’s also really helpful if you travel infrequently or are trying to decide on the best travel credit card. It will give you a general idea of hotel point pricing across different brands to help you plan for future cards and travels.
#4 My Wallet

What is My Wallet?
This is where you can store all your credit card and point information. I didn’t initially use this section as I’m a big spreadsheet girl, but then I took a look around and my little organizer’s heart fluttered!
There are sections for credit cards, airline points, bank points, and hotel points. It’s so well organized with color coding and branding that I had to give it a try!
Just like Daily Drop Pro is your one place for all things travel, this can easily be used as your one spot for organizing all your miles and points.
Where is your wallet?
It’s the fourth icon (a credit card) on the left side toolbar that says “wallet & points” when hovering over it. On the app drop down menu under “wallet & points” the sub category will take you directly to your wallet, airlines points, bank points, or hotels points.
How do I use the wallet?
Enter all your credit cards into the “wallet” section. You’re not entering your personal credit card information, but just the names of the credit cards. It will show stock photos of your credit cards.
Then enter how many miles and points you have earned with different travel partners in the respective categories. Also include the points you have with your travel credit cards. Above is the airlines page before I filled it in with my points.
As you earn and redeem points and miles you will need to update accordingly. At this time none of these categories will change automatically when you book travel, get new credit cards, or earn points and miles.
What’s the benefit of the wallet?
To me having everything nice and organized is a benefit itself. I know everyone doesn’t get as much joy out of organization as I do. Don’t even get me started on the pure bliss of color-coding!
From a practical standpoint it’s super helpful as you are searching for hotel and points deals. You can easily switch to your wallet tab and see which cards you have and how many points for different travel partners. For example you can see how many points you have with Marriott and with bank partners that transfer to Marriott……all in one spot!
This eliminates needing another place for storing this information or having to log into each hotel, airline, and bank account. In the world of verification codes, it’s a real hassle. I’m thinking of you, Hyatt, where you make me do a verification code to my email every single time!!!
Who’s the wallet for?
This is helpful for anyone who is getting into the world of miles and points. If you love travel and saving money on travel, that should be you!
#5 The Pro Lounge

What is the Pro Lounge?
I hope by this point in this Daily Drop Pro review you have more answers than questions. If you do have additional questions about how to use the site or about earning and redeeming miles and points then the Pro Lounge is the place to go.
The Lounge is essentially Daily Drop Pro’s social media section where you can post questions, share great redemptions, and find destination specific travel tips.
It’s also where you’ll find live virtual events to learn more about Daily Drop Pro……I’m sure you won’t need those after my very detailed post though 😉
Where is the Pro Lounge?
It is the 5th icon on the left hand side toolbar that says “Pro Lounge” and shows a group of people. It’s under the main drop down menu in the app as well.
How do I use the Pro Lounge?
The organizer in me is once again very happy with the layout of the Pro Lounge. Once in the lounge you’ll see the different categories such as “things to do in…”, “say hello and chat”, “priority support”, and more.
Think of it like FB where you join different groups for different purposes. When you’re planning your hiking road trip through Utah you’ll post in the hiking Utah FB group and not your moms love to craft group! Same in the lounge, check out all the different categories. Descriptions to describe the purpose of each category are pinned to the top of each. Post and look for information in the relevant one.
What’s the benefit of the Pro Lounge?
The main benefits of the lounge are getting all your travel questions answered, suggestions on future redemptions, recommendations on what to do in different destinations, and having handy travel resources all in one spot.
Thanks to the meetup category it will also hopefully be a great way to connect with fellow travelers in real life. As a solo traveler this is something I have been asking the Daily Drop team for for a long time. Within days of the initial launch I already connected with someone!
Make sure to look for me in the lounge once you join Daily Drop Pro! I mean do you need any other reason to sign up other than getting to message me!?
Who is the Pro Lounge for?
Whether you are brand new to miles and points or have been living the life for years now, there is a place for you in the Pro Lounge!
As a newcomer to points and miles you are sure to be overwhelmed. Even if you read Daily Drop, the free newsletter everyday, it is understandable that you will still have questions. Daily Drop Pro is a community of the most passionate miles and points travelers. Many of us have been doing this for years and are a free resource that are happy to answer your questions.
For those of you who live and breathe miles and points there is a “nerd out” channel to share and ask about advanced miles and points questions. This isn’t the place to ask beginner questions, but to delve into those higher level strategies.
#6 Extra Perks

What are the extra perks?
These perks may change from time to time, so please check your sign-up package to verify what you will be receiving.
As of the published date as a current Daily Drop Pro member I receive a discounted packing cube set, a discounted t-shirt, and a free Lonely Planet ebook.
Where are the extra perks?
Go to the sixth and final icon on the main left-hand sidebar on your computer. It’s a star icon and labeled “perks”. It’s also in the app drop down menu.
How do I use the extra perks?
On the perks page click “redeem perk” for the perk you want to redeem. Use your provided code when checking out and purchasing the item to receive the item free or at the specified discounted rate.
What’s the benefit of the extra perks?
The extra perks aren’t reason enough to sign up for Daily Drop Pro, but simply “extra perks”….it’s almost like they named them that for a reason!
I haven’t redeemed my Lonely Planet guide yet, but I’m looking forward to it as I always love reading guides about a destination before I visit.
Sign up for Daily Drop Pro today!
I hope I have convinced you to give Daily Drop Pro a try. If I failed to do my job, there’s the free Daily Drop Limited Plan which gives you a taste of all the benefits of Daily Drop Pro. You’ll only receive limited flight deals and limited award searches, but it’s a great way to try it risk free!
