Arrecife is home to the only airport on the island so it is very convenient to reach your accommodation by taxi from the airport. It is also centrally located on the island. It is a convenient starting point to reach the other resort towns on the island and all the main attractions in Lanzarote.

Hotel Miramar Review

Location

Hotel Miramar in Arrecife is a great choice in the city because it is a quick ride from the airport. It was so easy to walk out of the airport, grab a taxi and get to the hotel in 15 minutes.

The hotel is located along the waterfront. To get to the large pedestrian pathway along the waterfront you only need to cross the street!

Arrecife’s museums, restaurants and shops are almost all within walking distance as well. If you choose to spend your entire trip in Arrecife, you can easily take day tours to the rest of the island. You don’t need to worry about renting a car or figuring out public transportation.

Rooms

I wanted to check out different places around Lanzarote so I only stayed in Arrecife for one night. Hotel Miramar provided a nice, simple accommodation for my quick stay. Even though I had a short night’s sleep I felt great when I woke up. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They have all the amenities you should need, including a refrigerator.

Breakfast

Breakfast is included during your stay. It’s a lovely buffet with both hot and cold items. The selection is great and the friendly waitstaff make sure to replenish it frequently.

The Rooftop

My favorite part of the hotel was the view from the eating area on the rooftop. When I arrived the night before it was dark and I couldn’t really see much. It wasn’t until the sunny morning when I woke up and went to breakfast that I realized what a gorgeous location I was in.

When staying at Hotel Mirmar you may want to check out the Museo del Historia across the street. If you have a gorgeous day like I did you will want to spend most of it outside exploring the waterfront.
